FLASHBACK asks permission before using first-party website analytics. If you decline, the analytics tracker does not create its visitor or session identifiers.

What analytics records

When you allow analytics, FLASHBACK records a randomly generated visitor identifier, a session identifier, pages visited, broad device type, referring website, campaign tags such as UTM parameters, broad country code supplied by our hosting infrastructure, and key steps such as starting checkout. We do not intentionally store your raw IP address in the analytics table.

Why we use it

We use this information to understand how people discover FLASHBACK, which pages are useful and where visitors leave the booking journey. It is not used to build advertising profiles and we do not sell this analytics data.

Your choice

You can choose “No thanks” when asked. If you previously allowed analytics and want the browser identifiers removed, clear FLASHBACK site data in your browser. We will add an in-page preference control as the service develops.

Payments and event accounts

Payments are handled through Stripe. Event and organiser information needed to provide the service is separate from optional website analytics and is processed to operate your booking and event.
