What is FLASHBACK?

FLASHBACK is a browser-based digital disposable camera for weddings and events. Guests scan a QR code and take photos on their own phone. Each guest gets 10 shots and the organiser receives the private gallery.

Do wedding guests need an app?

No. FLASHBACK opens in the guest's mobile browser, so there is nothing to install.

Can guests see the photos they take?

No. There are no previews and no guest gallery. That surprise is intentional and recreates the feeling of waiting for a disposable camera to be developed.

Can guests retake or delete photos?

No. A shot counts when it is taken. Guests cannot inspect it and try again.

How many photos does each guest get?

Each guest gets 10 shots. Their allowance is remembered so refreshing the page does not simply reset the counter.

How many guests can use one event?

A FLASHBACK event supports up to 200 guests.

How do guests join?

Share the private event link or display the event QR code. Guests scan or tap it and open the camera.

Is this the same as a wedding photo sharing app?

Not quite. Many wedding photo apps focus on uploading existing photos into a shared gallery. FLASHBACK is designed as the camera experience itself: limited shots, no previews and no guest gallery. See our wedding guest photo app guide.

Is it an alternative to disposable cameras at a wedding?

Who can see the wedding photos?

The organiser gets the private gallery. Guests taking photos do not get access to the gallery through the camera experience.

Can I download the photos?

Yes. The organiser can download the event photos from the private gallery.

How long is the gallery available?

The current FLASHBACK package includes 30-day gallery access.

How much does FLASHBACK cost?

The current launch price is £35 for one event, with no subscription.

Can I use a discount code?

When a promotion is available, eligible codes can be entered securely on the Stripe checkout screen.

What's the best place for the QR code at a wedding?

Use several visible locations such as table cards, the bar, guest book area and welcome signage. Short instructions work best. Read the wedding photo QR code guide.

Will a digital disposable camera replace my wedding photographer?

No. It serves a different purpose. A professional photographer documents the wedding intentionally; guest cameras capture the informal viewpoints and moments happening around them.
